Request a systems walk-through
Cover battery switches, charging, bilges, seacocks where fitted, fuel, safety equipment, electronics and routine engine checks. Note unfamiliar systems for follow-up.
Record documents and equipment
Agree the keys, manuals, service records, inventory and registration documents to be handed over. Check the actual inventory against the contract.
Plan practical familiarisation
Learning your boat includes its berth and local operating routines. Identify any training needs and confirm the instructor, insurance and operating permissions before booking.
Our Spain plans
Maritime Expert is developing future owner support around Jávea and Dénia. On-water handovers, tuition and skippering are not available to book until the operating arrangements are confirmed.
