Maritime Expert considers boat deliveries throughout Ireland and selected routes in the UK and Europe. Each assignment begins with the boat itself: where it is, where it needs to go and whether it is ready for the proposed passage.
Before we quote
Send the vessel details, departure and destination, approximate dates and relevant maintenance history. Tell us about known defects, safety equipment and any restrictions at either berth. We then discuss the appropriate crew, route and preparation.
The quotation sets out the work and expected costs, including the agreed approach to travel, fuel, berthing and other passage expenses. Any assumptions or potential additional costs should be clear before the delivery starts.
During the passage
We agree how you will be kept informed and how changes to the plan will be handled. Weather, sea or river conditions and the boat’s performance may affect progress; a target arrival date is considered alongside those practical realities.
At the destination
The delivery ends with an agreed handover. If you want more than relocation, combine it with systems familiarisation, home-berth practice and own-boat tuition.
